Key Responsibilities -- Search Engine Marketing Manager

Hanover Direct is looking for a self-starting individual to develop and manage profitable, large scale Search Engine Marketing programs for multiple retail E-commerce sites in the Home Décor and/or Apparel categories. This position reports into the Director of Internet Marketing.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Lead a team of SEM professionals and provide hands on management of SEM and CSE campaigns
*
Oversee and continuously improve search marketing processes and results incorporating industry best practices, third party software tools and new methods for delivery and measurement
*
Deliver quantifiable results measured by corporate ROI goals
*
Collaborate with Brand Managers, Merchants and other business stake-holders to create and implement campaign goals
*
Conduct testing of landing pages, copy and match type to optimize campaigns
*
Timely reporting of accurate campaign reports, including the accompanying data analysis
*
Define key success metrics and forecast anticipated business results from search initiatives

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

· Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team with diverse skills and experience

· Solid understanding of Search Engine Marketing practices including hands on experience in implementing Search Engine Marketing campaigns on Google, Yahoo and other engines including tracking, keyword development, bid strategies, analysis and optimization

· Exceptionally strong analytical skills and extensive experience with testing

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Advanced competency in Excel

* Consistently organized with extreme attention to detail

· Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast paced and changing environment

· SEM Certification thru Google or SEMPO preferred

· Prior experience in a Direct Marketing environment preferred

· Prior experience using SEM bid management software such as Atlas, Omniture or Coremetrics

· Experience with web analytics tools preferred

The Corporate office is conveniently located in Weehawken, New Jersey, and 8 minutes away from Manhattan via NY Waterways, easily accessible by public transportation and offers free parking.
